Walking

The city is surrounded by a green belt, the Ramparts.  The ramparts of Ypres are the best preserved in the country.  The signposted route is 2.6km long and will lead you along a quiet 90 minute walk.  The leaflet is free available in the Albion Hotel. 

At the tourist Office there is also a walking map available with four different walks in and around Ypres.  They are closely linked and easy to combine.  The main sites and monuments of each route are indicated.
